People have been urged to continue their precautions against the pandemic and help the state conquer the virus as the week-long night lockdown came to an end, according to the Supreme Committee on Covid-19. From Saturday, the ban on movement of individuals and vehicles will be over and shops and stores can function from 4am till 8pm provided the number of people inside shouldn t be more than 50 per cent of the capacity as part of controlling the coronavirus, the Supreme Committee notification said.

MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee on Covid-19 has praised the role of all agencies such as Royal Oman Police (ROP) and Public Prosecution, which are responsible for implementing its decisions and cracking down on the violators.
The Supreme Committee has issued the following decisions, which will be implemented from Saturday, May 15.
The decision to lift the ban on the movement of individuals or vehicles will be effective from 12 am (midnight) on May 15.
There will be a ban on receiving customers inside stores in all governorates of the Sultanate between 8 pm and 4 am, while delivery and take away services will be permitted. Food stores are exempted from the prohibition.
